Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

I am still getting over the win from last weekend, and right around 4:00 Saturday night I found myself standing in my kitchen with this strange feeling of having nothing to do. I quickly found something to do, but I had gotten so used to finishing rehersal right around that time. Funny how your body takes some time to adjust, like jet lag. I guess it's band lag.

I have been reading all these negative comments going on around these different websites for quite some time involving members of our band and other bands as well. While I am able to see who most of these people are I cannot see who all of them are. Make sure you stay away from that fray, and out of that fire. Some of you have not, and have been spoken to. While 99% of you have, it only takes one. No matter what others say, remember who you are, and what you stand for.

I guess that's all for now, keep checking back. See you at guard practice.

Done.

Like my Charlotte says every morning, "I'm so Happy."

Truly a wonderful season and an end to a magical week.

Need I remind everyone we have 46 Freshmen in this band?

I think my favorite part of the victory has to be the culmination of the perfect storm. We went over everything that had to go your way, and it did. None of that would of mattered without THE performance, THE show, THE sound and THE visual intensity you displayed tonight.

The show popped from that stadium like we told you it would. The sound popped, and from the very top of the stadium I felt like I was in the horn arc warming up.

More to come tomorrow, I feel incredibly proud of every single one of you.
